October 11, 2024: Father Jean-Baptiste Benoît was born in 1938 in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan (Canada). He entered Abbey de Notre-Dames des Prairies in 1961, made his solemn profession in 1967 and was ordained a priest in 1967. After the suppression of the Prairies monastery in 2020, he changed stability to Val Notre-Dame. Father was 86 years old, had been in monastic vows for 60 years and 56 years a priest when the Lord called him.
