November 26, 2020: Father Guy Desclaux was born in 1920 in Gamarde (France). He entered Désert in 1941, made his solemn profession in 1946 and was ordained a priest in 1947. In 2020, after the Monastery of Désert closed, he chose to join the Community of Neiges, the Mother House. Father was 100 years old and had been in monastic vows for 76 years and 73 years a priest when the Lord called him.
