February 15, 2022: Brother Marie-Bernard Fontaine was bornin 1937 in Gacé (Orne, France). He entered Cîteaux in 1963 and made his solemn profession in 1975 in Sept-Fons. In 1978, he was sent to New Caledonia, to the Monastery of Notre Dame des Iles, founded by Sept-Fons and remained there until the closure this monastery in 2001. Then he went to Latroun where he changed his stability. Brother was 84 years old and had been in monastic vows for 58 years when the Lord called him.
