December 16, 2016: Brother Laurin Hartzog was bornon July 29, 1930 in Bastrop, Louisiana (USA). He entered Vina in 1978 and made his solemn profession in 1983. He changed stability to Conyers in 2003. Brother Laurin was 86 years old and had been in monastic vows for 36 years when the lord called him.
