Having fulfilled the requirements according to the Statute on Foundations, nr 20-21, the community of the Abbey of Maria Frieden, in the diocese of Aachen (Germany) was transferred on 23.06.2022.

Mother Gratia, the abbess is writing: “A decision process of 3 years is behind us and we are happy to have found a suitable monastery 20 km from Dahlem, where a Benedictine convent moved out 3 years ago. We are now living on rent and have a new house chaplain, Fr. Christian Keller OCSO from Sint Sixtus. A wonderful providence.”
