On 21 January 2024, the community of Santa Maria del Evangelio, Jarabacoa (Diocese of La Vega, Dominican Republic) elected Father Jhonny Almonte Tineo as Titular Prior of the Community. Dom Jhonny ****was born in 1965 in La Vega (Dominican Rep.). He entered Jarabacoa in 1987, made his solemn profession in 1999 and was ordained a priest in 2022. At the time of his election, he was the cellerar of the community.
