OriginsFoundation of monks in 1147, by Mazan ; expulsion in 1791 ; restoration by the nuns of Maubec (Blauvac) in 1875.
History
- 1147 Foundation of the ancient abbey Bonneval by the religious of Mazan.
- 1791 Expulsion of the monks.
- 1875, 5 November: arrival of the nuns coming from Maubec.
- 1896, 3 February: blessing of the church restored by D. Emmanuel, Father Immediate and founder of Bonneval.
- 1927, 9 June: consecration of the church of Bonneval (on the anniversary of the dedication of the church of the ancient abbey).
- 1947 October, celebration of the 8th centenary of the foundation of Bonneval by the monks of Mazan.
- 1950, 17 June: erection of a monumental statue of the Virgin Mary, under the title of her Assumption.
- 1954 Solemn vows according to the constitution “Sponsa Christi”.
