OriginesFounded by Ubexy on 21 November 1898. Erected as an abbey in September 1928. The foundation was made at the request of Mgr Berlioz, bishop of Hakodate and its missionaries.
Histoire
  • 1910 foundation of the first wing of the monastery and of the chaplaincy.
  • 1913 construction of the church.
  • 1914, 2 October, blessing of the church by Mgr Berlioz.
  • 1924 construction of the third wing.
  • 1925, 16 October, fire in the church and first wing of the building.
  • 1926 reconstruction of the first wing.
  • 1927 reconstruction of the church. On 7 July it is blessed by Mgr Berlioz.
  • 1945 June – December, refuge of Our Lady of Lourdes (foundation of Phare) at O.L Angels (Tenshien).
  • 1952 November, visit of the Abbot General.
  • 1953 Visit of the crown prince, the brother of the emperor and other members of the imperial family.
  • 1956 second visit of the Abbot General.
