Histoire
- Founded on a property donated by Clare Boothe Luce, American Ambassador to Rome. The property is located about 40 km from Charleston, in the Cooper river valley. The soil is fertile and suitable for many crops. Much of the land is forested. The climate is ideal for 10 months of the year, the other two months being humid.

Install. hôtesFor retreatants (1 week) and special guests (several weeks): 8 rooms. Guests (male and female) pray and take their meals with the community. Monastic guests (men only) spend one month in community, and follow the entire monastic horarium.
