OriginesFoundation by Stapehill in 1932; erection as an abbey in 1934.
Histoire
- The convent and property was acquired by Mount Melleray and given to the nuns. The church was also constructed by Mount Melleray.
- 1949 Foundation of Mount St Mary’s Abbey, Wrentham. Several Americans came to make their novitiate at Glencairn and left for Wrentham with a group of older sisters.
- 1955 The founders of Wrentham returned to Glencairn and made their stability by indult.
