OrígenesFounded by Bonnecombe in 1902; raised to the status of priory in 1904; raised to the status of abbey in 1960.
Historia
- 1902: fear of expulsion led the community of N.-D. de Bonnecombe to found N.-D. du Calvaire in 1902 as a potential refuge, but the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith raised it to the status of priory in 1904.
- 1921: having forgotten or not being aware of this act, the General Chapter hesitated to consider it as a real foundation and sent two abbot-visitors. For several years it was considered only as a refuge.
- 1930: the election of a titular prior finally took place.
